Healthwatch Camden will be hosting our annual 'Community Forum', followed by our regular Board Meeting, on Tuesday 26th June 2018.

Deafblind Day Information Day

Weds 27th June 2018 11am to 2pm

This year will be Deafblind UK’s 90th birthday, so we want to let even more people know about what we can offer them and to tell people about the services and activities available to them in London.

We really appreciated your feedback after last year’s event and we have taken all your suggestions on board. This year we are in Camden and have secured a lovely accessible venue, the Pirate Castle

Health Information Week is a campaign to improve access to health information. Staff from local authorities, public libraries, NHS, voluntary sector, independent information and advice centres have all been working together to make their health resources more available to the public.

CCNWL Annual Report published: our AGM Wednesday 5 September

CNWL’s Annual Report was laid before Parliament on Tuesday 19 June and it is now published on their website. We hope you will look through it and we look forward to your views about it at our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 5 September, starting at 5pm, at the Wellcome Collection in the Auditorium, Euston

Dementia risk now included as part of NHS Health Check

Healthcare professionals in GP surgeries and the community will soon give advice on dementia risk to patients as part of the NHS Health Check.

Dementia Friendly Rural Communities Guide

The Alzheimer’s Society has published a guide for rural communities to support them in becoming more dementia friendly. It includes extensive resources focused on using museums, arts and culture to support people with dementia.

Read the results of our latest analysis, which looks at the experiences of adult inpatients in hospital.

Attitudes to Ageing Linked to Health

A new report by the Royal Society for Public Health has found that people with negative attitudes to older people and ageing experience an adverse effect on their own health and wellbeing.
