THE UK’s first dedicated service for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse opened on Wednesday (Dec 5) in London.
The Lighthouse will deliver medical, advocacy, social care, police, and therapeutic support to children and young people who have been victims of sexual abuse.

Changes to the welfare benefit system, a shortage of affordable housing and increased private rents are all having an impact nationally, contributing to a homelessness crisis, which in the worst incidences can result in rough sleeping.

The focus group meeting is about disabled people's experience using information and advice services in Camden. People’s experiences of the care they receive from community-based mental health services have continued to deteriorate, according to an annual survey from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The survey published today (Thursday 22 November) highlights concerns around access to care, care planning and support for people with mental health conditions in relation to physical health needs, financial advice or benefits.
