Lung Cancer & COPD Awareness Month

1-30 November 2018

The aim of the Lung Cancer Awareness campaign is to raise awareness to encourage people displaying the common symptoms of lung cancer, such as a persistent cough, breathlessness or unexplained weight-loss, to visit their GP. During the month, many people throughout the country and the world come together for the lung cancer community.  #Headhigh  @Roy_Castle_Lung

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) affects millions of people across the UK, and describes a group of lung conditions that make it difficult to empty air out of the lungs because your airways have been narrowed. If you live with the affects of #COPD or other respiratory illness (like #Asthma) then it's vital that you have your #Flu vaccination.  #COPDawarenessmonth helps to raise awareness of this condition, particularly as many people are living with it without realising.
